Activities of 20 Microns Diabetes Center
20 Microns Diabetes Center is the Nonprofit Organization dedicated to provide long-lasting solutions to diabetes-oriented health problems. The main aim of the organization is to help people with diabetes especially juvenile patients so that they can lead a better and independent life with diabetes.
Working by the principle of ‘Giving’ & ‘Caring’, the 20 Microns Diabetes Center is owned and operated by 20 Microns Limited, a pioneer & India’s leading producer of Industrial Minerals, Functional Specialties & Performance Additives. The company is also involved into segments like Construction Chemicals, Herbal Medicines and Mineral Based Agriculture products hence touching the lives of millions in millions ways.

Inaugurated
The 20 Microns Diabetes Center was inaugurated by 20 Microns Foundation Trust on 14th November 2008. It operates as an NGO primarily aiming to promote awareness about diabetes and to serve underprivileged diabetics.
Number of patients Served
20 Microns Diabetes Center has served more than 2,00,000 under privileged people with the utmost care and looking forward to do this noble work in future with same intensity. We are working hard to provide proper care & treatment to more and more needy people living with diabetes.
Members & services
With more than 5000 registered members, 20 Microns Diabetes Center regularly operates from 7:30 am till 6:30 pm daily. Routine Blood Tests of our Members and Non- Members for diagnosis of Diabetes are carried out at different centers in Vadodara, Gujarat.
Awareness Programs
At 20 Microns Diabetes Center, we do our best to make patients and their family members aware about the diabetic condition and its after effects. We explain, educate and guide them on how to live normal, healthy and independent life with diabetes.
Association with doctors
Our center is associated with prominent Doctors of Baroda with different specialization in Heart, Eye, Kidney, Foot care, Endocrinologist, Ophthalmologist etc. They regularly visit the center to guide and treat patients with great care.
Centers in Vadodara
This Humble Journey of Humanity started with one center and with the great support and confidence of people in us, there are now 12 Centers serving the underprivileged people with great care and love.
Founder
SHRI CHANDRESH PARIKH, Chairman of 20 MICRONS LIMITED is the founder of this center. His main motive to start this center is to make positive contribution to the society by serving its people and creating a better tomorrow for them.
Emergency Care for diabetics
The 20 Microns Diabetes Center offers a complete solution for the Diabetic patients and have also issued free I-Cards to diabetic members mentioning their Blood Group, Emergency contact, numbers, Address, etc. which enables them to seek help in any sort of emergency.
Reach to the needy
The Diabetes Center is having the Mobile Laboratory Van to provide services in different areas of Vadodara and nearby villages where needy diabetic patients are deprived of timely and necessary treatments. This helps us serve better to the underprivileged diabetics.
Juvenile diabetes
We are mainly focused in treating the Juveniles. We have dedicated facility for Juvenile diabetes and there are about 75 registered Juvenile members. We are being providing them free Insulin, Gluco meter, Gluco strip & All Required Diabetic related facilities under the doctor’s consultation form last 6 years.
Yoga Training
We understand the importance of Yoga in treating diabetes and hence 20 Microns Diabetes Center also provides free YOGA training by competent YOGA instructors to all interested members every morning.
Helping Hands
Together, we believe we can do more. We heartily welcome all the helping hands for this cause and appreciate them for their time and resources they offer while working with 20 Microns Diabetes Centre.
Our Future Plans
We aim to provide proper care & treatment to more and more people living with diabetes. We look forward to bring more diabetic members to our fold especially juvenile diabetic patients. We strive to help them not only in fighting against diabetes but also to provide them an educational opportunity for their better future. Backed up with the medical professionals who have always supported us in our journey, we are sure that we are able to achieve this goal.
